The field is drawn with the engine's own phyllotaxis rule: seed n sits at n golden angles (137.50776° each) and distance c·√n from the core.

A family of exact 3D tools

One engine.
Many precise tools.

Real mathematics you can model, measure and print.

Small, precise tools for 3D artists, designers and makers, all grown from one shared core: the Curiosa Engine. The first tool, Curiosa Shapes for 3ds Max, is in development.

One job per tool, done well.

Every tool runs on the Curiosa Engine, so shapes, checks and exports behave the same everywhere.

Cell 02

The engine is shared, so more tools can grow from it. Each new tool is named here once it exists.

Drawn, not built. The cell lights up when it is real.

02 · Proof, not promise

Every shape is checked against its mathematics.

An oloid straight out of the engine, radius 50 mm. Every straight line on its surface measures r√3. Its surface unrolls flat without stretching, so the engine draws the cutting pattern too.

one ruling = r√3 = 86.60 mm

03 · Try the engine

Before you leave, take a shape with you.

Choose one of four forms, set it, and download it as an STL file. The Curiosa Engine builds it here, in your browser, and shows you its numbers.
